- He is about 6 pounds!
- All of the systems in his body are ready to go, with the exception of his digestive system, which will kick into gear once he's born and starts eating.
Best Parts of this Week: These both actually happened last week, but I forgot to write about them!
- Thomas came home with a present for me (but really for the baby) last Friday, which was a sweet little white onesie with his initials on it! :) He ordered one from one of his monogramming customers at work, and they gave it to him for free!
- At our last midwife appointment Thomas got to feel the baby's head AND stick his head on my belly to hear the baby's heart beating! I had no idea it was even possible to hear his heartbeat like that. His face was so priceless!
Symptoms: Exhaustion. Continued back and rib pain. Getting up 500 times in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. The start of some swelling - I had difficulty taking my rings off at night this week! However, I am overall incredibly thankful that it has been a healthy and smooth pregnancy.
Cravings: Sweets - nothing new or unusual there :)
Funny/Weird Things: I think I have started the whole nesting thing! I have felt so compelled this weekend to clean, clean, and clean - the inside of drawers, cabinets, and closets - anything and everything! I think hitting the one month left mark has caused me to feel the need to do everything I can to get the apartment in order before he gets here, especially since it's always possible that he could come early!
Other: We are excited because our Bible study group is throwing us a mini baby shower tomorrow night before Bible study! We feel so blessed to be a part of such a loving community who cares so much about us and our baby!
