7 Quick Takes Friday: Volume 60

7 quick takes sm1 7 Quick Takes Friday (vol. 225)

Thomas and I had such a great date night last Friday! There was a free, waterfront concert by us followed by fireworks!  Loved spending the time relaxing and unwinding from the stressful week!

Our 2 year anniversary was on Tuesday! :)

This naan bread recipe is amazing!  We have used it for mini pizzas twice this week and once for breakfast with butter, cinnamon, and sugar!

My parents came to visit last weekend and brought us some fresh vegetables from their garden! YUM!  Home grown are so much better than store bought.

Thomas let me take some pictures of him for my final project for fieldwork...and then he started getting goofy on me haha! I can't look at this without laughing! :)

I am extremely excited to say that I have only ONE more week of this fieldwork left!  I am really looking forward to a week off and a fresh start with a new rotation.  I have been extremely stressed out over these past few weeks, and I know some rest and relaxation will be so good for me and the baby.
I am really looking forward to a girl's weekend with my mom and sister and then a camping weekend with my husband over that break to celebrate 2 years of marriage!  So much to look forward to!

  1. Nothing like homegrown veggies, is there?

And I remember well how hard my student teaching was back in the day... Soooo much harder than teaching itself! Hang in there!

    Prayers and hugs! : )

  2. You are just about halfway done with being finished with your rotations :) So exciting! I am studying for the NBCOT (it might be just about killing me ;) I laughed out loud when I saw that picture of Thomas... oh my husband has done many similar impersonations! Hope your weekend is stress free.

  3. I love your anniversary pictures! I hope you enjoy your last week of your rotation and have an amazing time camping! :D

  4. Happy Anniversary!! Such a great picture of you two. Yay for some time to relax coming up!

  5. Happy Anniversary!

I would like to try out the naan recipe, but the link doesn't work.

  6. Thanks for the naan link. It looks so good and easy. That picture of Thomas is so funny -he just needs some suspenders! Hang in there and soldier on - you can make it through this field work!

  7. Looks like you have some great things planned to help relieve some of that stress! And I agree about the home grown veggies. We had our first garden this year. The biggest producer? cucumbers!
