Well, nothing I say in these quick takes can top the news I shared this week! My goodness, we are feeling so blessed!  I know I said I'd be writing more about it soon, but I just haven't gotten there yet!  It's coming though! :)

I am now 13 weeks along!  That little one is about three inches long and looks like this!  Such a miracle!  And yes, I am probably going to be that annoying person who takes baby bump photos and gives pregnancy updates...

Here's the video of us telling our families about the baby! So, so funny, and so much I love about it!!

Oh right, something else big is going on too!  I started fieldwork this week...kind of snuck up on me with all the excitement of telling people about our little one!

I've decided this week that I absolutely love older people and would not mind working with them at all.  We have some major cuties on the rehab floor!

Ever get a message straight from God?  It has been absolutely pouring buckets of rain all week, and when I walked out to the car the other morning, I started getting a little bit nervous about driving to the hospital.  As soon as I got in the car and turned on the radio, the line of "through the rain, I'm with you" from Praise You in the Storm came on.  It gave me major chills!  Some might say it's just a coincidence, but I have no doubts that God was letting me know he'd take care of me on the drive!

We have no plans for this weekend, and I am so looking forward to that!  I am absolutely exhausted after going out of town two weekends in a row, starting fieldwork full-time...oh, and growing a person hehe! :)

  1. I looooved reading your announcement here and then seeing you tell the families. Isn't the internet age so awesome that we can experience things like that that we'd not otherwise see? Baby Z is going to be so loved!

  5. That video; so sweet! I can see my family having the same initially puzzled reaction =) We just called them up and cut to the chase since we don't live close by, but I can't wait to break the news in person for our future babies!

    1. Aww yea! We had to wait for several weeks to get everyone in person to tell them, but it was worth the wait to have them all together!

  14. That announcement was SO CUTE. I was wondering if you were expecting because of your pins...should've known!!

    1. Oh my goodness...so many of my friends suspected it because of my pins! I never thought that would give it away since people typically post pins all the time of things they won't have for a while!

    2. Hahaha... I thought the same thing!! But, ever since I started following you your pins were baby things, so I just thought you were REALLLLLLY prepared! :) Just recently though, it seemed a bit more and I did have a passing thought! ;) I am just so excited for you! I am not going to lie... I just watched the video again. And am looking at all the love people are showing ya! SO FUN!

    1. You're sweet to ask! Pretty well - just a little nauseous, which I think has passed. I also have been feeling like I'm going to pass out pretty frequently. I think God has spared me some symptoms since I've had to get shots twice a week!

    1. Thanks so much Kristen! I am really surprised by how much I like it. I told Thomas I think I'd maybe like to work with older adults as much as I'd like to work with kids!
