7 Quick Takes Friday (Volume 51)

7 quick takes sm1 7 Quick Takes Friday (vol. 212)

I finished my last exam this week, which was an amazing feeling!  Already counting down to graduation in December hehe! :)

There's still no word on a fieldwork placement for me for this summer yet! Eek!

Oh, that husband of mine.  He brings so much joy to my life! I love finding his sweet notes when I sleep in and he leaves for work in the morning before I wake up. :)

There was a post-it note in a book I bought from Goodwill this week!
"But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory now and to the day of eternity. Amen."

I got to have a play date with my friend's niece one afternoon this week!  She is so, so stinking cute! We played on the playground, baked cookies, blew bubbles, played blocks, made things with play dough, and just ran around giggling and chasing each other.  Love her!

I posted some date ideas this week, as well as a post about what our youth minister talked about at Life Teen.  It was his last night speaking before he and his family leave to become full time missionaries, so his talk was incredibly inspiring!

This is going to be a great weekend! My little sister is graduating from college, which means that our whole family will be back together for the weekend. My grandma will be in town too!  So much to be thankful for.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Have a wonderful family weekend Caitlin! : )

  2. I lovedd your 50 dates! And I hope you have an amazing weekend with your family!

  3. That is so sweet that you played with the little girl. I am sure her mother appreciated it. Have a wonderful weekend with your family.

  4. Sounds like a fun weekend! I always like finding post-it notes in books and things!

  5. Prayed for your fieldwork placement. Finding notes in books are always cool, it's especially great that it was a scripture verse.

  6. Praying the field work assignment works out, that's gotta be tough, hang in there:)

  7. I read your post yesterday and I'll be praying for your placement! Even if it ends up being a more emotional one than you expected, I'm sure your heart is up for it =) Have a good weekend!
