I didn't post my Quick Takes yesterday because I was at an OT conference all day, and we presented our research!  It was a long day, and I am so relieved to be done!
I convinced Thomas that frozen yogurt was 100% necessary after that!

I had my last class of grad school EVER this week!  It's very bittersweet.  I am SO happy to be done with classes, but I'm going to miss everyone so much when we're off on fieldwork!

End of the year party for school.  Happy and sad!

Have you seen these undercover videos of the late term abortion industry?  Oh, just heart wrenching  Hearing the way those people talk so coldly about the babies and the procedure, completely dehumanizing the child.

Along with that, have you seen this article about Dr. Gosnell?  She sure does make some good points.

"There is nothing more disgusting about pulling a baby out and killing her than there is about sticking an instrument into the womb and killing her. Why is it worse if she’s a foot away? Is the difference location? Should a few feet of space be the difference between “perfectly legal” and “first degree murder?”  It’s preposterous. The whole trial is kind of a sham. Let him go. If it’s legal a few feet to the left inside the womb, then why not just let it be legal a few feet to the right outside the womb?"

I finally posted a little bit of what I've been learning in our Bible study on Revelation!

Once I'm done with exams, I have a little project in store.  I have been wanting to get my hands on this camera purse...but um $164 is just a little way out of my budget/even if I had the money I could never justify spending that much on a purse! However, I've seen some tutorials like thisthis, and this.  I bought a purse with a Kohl's gift card I got for my birthday, picked out some fabric and foam, and I'm going to give it my best! We'll see how it goes...

Happy Weekend! :)

    1. Thanks Kari! I still have about 7 months left because I graduate in December, but it definitely feels good to be done with the classes part of school! :)

  2. Yay for being finished with classes! I hope that you are proud of yourself. And yes, frozen yogurt is entirely necessary.

  3. Congrats on finishing classes and the research presentation! I remember doing the research presentation and it was great to have it done. Being out working with patients really is a lot more fun than class, but understandable that you'll miss the people in your class.
