Sorry, I realized I haven't written anything on my blog this week! Life got really crazy with school this week, and I just haven't even had a chance to write a post. I promise I do have a lot to write about soon, especially with all the great Bible studies we've been having!
Isaiah 55:8-9 wrote a beautiful post for the Catholic Marriage Series this week about joyfully accepting God's plan for your marriage. It's definitely worth reading! As always, if you'd like to write a post for the series, please email me! :) firstname.lastname@example.org
We had a really fun bridal shower this week for four girls in my class who are engaged! I just love all the excitement around engagements and weddings, and love all these women! :)
I had such a good time ice skating with one of my friends last weekend! The best part of it - I did not fall or get hurt! ;) (You all know how clumsy I am!)
We went to an absolutely incredible talk last night by a married couple at our church about love, suffering, faith, and trust. It was so encouraging, and it filled me with so much comfort and love for God.
Along with that, I just love answered prayers from God! We have been praying a lot recently for God to show us where and how he wants us to serve. I have been trying to get involved with the elementary school kids at church, but the dates just never seem to work out with my school schedule. Well, a woman from our Bible study introduced us to the couple who spoke last night. They are in charge of Life Teen at our parish, and they'd like for us to get involved with it! We are going to check it out this Sunday, and I am so thrilled that God has opened up this opportunity for us. I'm really excited to see where he leads us with this!
I cooked breakfast for Thomas one morning to find Psalm 118:24 inside of the egg carton! That made my day!:) It's always such a pleasant surprise to see a Bible verse in a commercial product.
I am so, so thankful to be on spring break! This weekend Thomas and I are meeting up with my parents and brother for dinner and a hockey game! I can't wait to see them! Next week, I'll work a little, see some friends, and probably just veg out, watch movies, and read! :)
