What I Wore Sunday

I am participating for the first time in the What I Wore Sunday linkup at Fine Linen and Purple!  Check out their blog for more outfit ideas to wear to church!

The weather has been beautiful recently, so I was able to get away with wearing this in December.

I almost never buy clothes if they are not on sale because I have a savvy grandma and mom who have instilled the belief in me to hunt for the deals and never pay full price! ;)  Here are the details:

Shirt: Old Navy last fall - On sale for about $7.00
Shirt over my shirt - not sure what you call that thing? Clearance from NY and Company a few months ago for about $10
Skirt: New York and Company - on clearance for about $11 - It's still there in the 70% off rack!
Shoes: Old Navy on clearance last fall for about $9
Watch: Fossil - Christmas gift two years ago
Necklace: New York and Company - on sale for $10 - I love it because it's neutral and will pair with many different outfits!

And just for laughs...Thomas thinks it's funny to take millions of pictures when I ask him to take one, just to tease me for the fact that I take way too many pictures of him and everyone else!  So there are more than a few ridiculous pictures on my camera right now...

And here's a picture of him rocking the Chaps sweater I got him at Belk on Black Friday for his birthday - on sale for $10 from $60! Maybe next week I'll convince him to pose. ;)

Happy Sunday!

Love,
Caitlin

  9. I am loving the outfit and concur with Katie-so Kate Middleton! The red skirt is classic and paired with you gold tone flats-the outfit is on trend and sparkly! Oh and the shirt over your shirt would be called a cropped sleeve cardigan or 3/4 length sleeve cardigan ;) yes, I am that fashion nerd who knows the cuts, styles and names.
