2012 In Review

It's hard to believe the year of 2012 is coming to an end today.  In reflecting on the past year, I am aware of how immensely blessed I am.  God's grace in every aspect of my life has become more and more apparent every day, and my love for him continues to grow.  I feel so very loved by God, my husband, my family, my friends, and my husband's family.  Thanks to God, this past year has been an amazing adventure filled with many rich blessings, and I am excited to see what the next year brings.

The Year in Review
January and February: I am glad I started this blog in March to help me remember everything that is going on in life because I really can't even remember January or February!

March:  I started my blog with this first post, ran a trail half marathon with Thomas, got our wedding album, went to the St. Patrick's Day dance at church, and finished a Bible study with girls at school on an amazing book

April: I ran a 5K with friends from school, wrote a guest post for Mandi's blog about marrying young, celebrated Easter and my birthday, started studying the book of James at church, and went to the circus.

May: I started sewing with my mom, biked the Virginia Creeper Trail with my family and in-laws, celebrated our 6 year date-a-versary (complete with pictures in the same spot every year),  and went on a day trip to a historic town.

June: I started the Catholic Marriage series,  went to the beach with Thomas and my parents, almost had a kitten, celebrated my cousin's graduation, and went to my first OT conference.

July: We decided not to move, went to the beach with my family for the fourth of July, celebrated one year of marriage, and went to New Bern to celebrate our anniversary.

August: I found out I got a part-time job, went to a bird park with Thomas, and had an OT picnic and started another semester at school.

September: I got to meet other Catholic bloggers, went on a road trip to my brother's football game, went to a farm, and picked out and carved pumpkins with Thomas.

October: I went to the county fair, had my first rotation for school, went to the state fair, celebrated Halloween with college friends, ran a color run, met my parents' new dog, and celebrated Halloween with my OT friends.

November:  We went on a Marriage Encounter retreat at the beach, I fractured my knee, Thomas ran a marathon in Richmond, we celebrated Thanksgiving with both of our families, we celebrated Thomas' birthday, and we picked out our Christmas tree.

December: I decorated for Christmas and had a cookie exchange, had a Christmas party at school, celebrated Christmas with my family, and went to England.

Readers: What would you like to see more of on my blog this year?  Religious topics? Recipes? Daily life? Crafts?  What would you like to see less of?

I hope you all have a Happy New Year! Thomas and I are going to have an evening celebration in tonight as we recover from traveling and from our colds!  I've been making lots of yummy snacks today!

Love,
Caitlin
