7 Quick Takes Friday (Volume 13)

-1-
I'm at home! :) I am going to an OT conference all day today and tomorrow.  It's fortunately in my hometown, so I was able to stay with my parents.  I am going with two other girls in my program and I am really excited about it! I think we're going to learn a lot of really useful information.

I'll be staying with my in-laws and husband on Saturday night after I am done with the conference, so it will be nice to get to see both of our families this weekend!

My parents let me borrow one of their cars this week so I could drive back home Thursday night without Thomas having to take off.  I was able to go out to the craft store to get some supplies to work on a one year anniversary present. ;)  It was sooo nice being able to leave the apartment for a little bit when I didn't have class all day Monday. Sometimes it's nice to just be around other people in the store even if you don't interact with them.

I made another wreath...this time for my parents!  My mom has been wanting me to make her one, and I thought it would be a good time since they did let me use their car all week.

I am so grateful for my sweet husband who makes me laugh every day.  Many, many times.  This week I told him there was a mosquito in the apartment and he had me laughing hysterically chasing it around saying, "stay away from my wife!"  Then he caught that "sucker" and told me it would stop "bugging me."  I love that boy.

Our last Bible study on James is next week! I can't believe it's already the end, and I am really not ready to be done with it.   Here are the posts this week about making plans with God and making money.  Stay tuned for a post about patience from what I learned this week and a post on what we learn this week.

Would anyone like to write a guest post for the Catholic Wedding Series for me to put up next week? I didn't have anyone post this week, so I'd love to get another one up soon! :)

Love,
Caitlin

  4. #5 As a married man myself, I will emphasize how important it is to laugh at your husbands jokes :) I myself often go to great lengths to make my wife smile.
