This weekend I went to the Virginia Creeper Trail with my husband, family, and in-laws. It's a 17 mile trail down a mountain that was converted from railroad tracks. A big van took us up to the top with bikes and we rode our way back down. Don't be fooled by 17 miles, it was all downhill so we basically just cruised without having to pedal!
It was a little cloudy, but the temperature was perfect and it was a beautiful trail! There were plenty of spots along the trail to stop, so we took advantage of that to take many, many pictures. We had so much fun, and it was really nice being able to see both of our moms for Mother's Day weekend!

My parents goofing off - love them!
Also, Thomas and I went to our favorite park where we had our first date. We have taken a picture every year in the same spot in this gazebo since our one year dating anniversary.
Then we just had a little fun playing around with the different settings on my camera to take some more pictures!
Sunday was Mother's Day, and we spent about half the day at my parent's house before heading back home. We went to church, had a huge lunch, and spent time together as a family. My mom has been helping me sew a skirt, so I worked on that a little bit more, but I am leaving it there to finish the next time I go back home.
I just have to say since it was Mother's Day that I love my beautiful mom! Throughout my whole life she has always put my family's needs before herself. She is loving, hard working, and extremely caring. And even though my dad gets the rep for being the funny one in the family, she can be pretty darn funny too! :)
