Kathleen commented about about the cost of peppers on this blog post. We ended up getting a bunch of produce and some canned food for less than $12! I was absolutely shocked that it was only $0.99 for a carton of strawberries! I of course had to write down all of the prices at Walmart to compare, and we saved $8.14. It might not seem like much, but we calculated that if we saved that much by buying the items that are cheaper at Aldi each week, we would save up $423 over the year, which is pretty significant! I'd say that's definitely worth the inconvenience of going to two different stores each week to get all the groceries we need.
We went to the early mass this morning. I feel like we are already such an old couple, going to bed around 10 and waking up around 6 or 7 on the weekends. My husband was supposed to have a soccer game today, but it got cancelled because the fields are so wet from the rain this weekend, so we played soccer tennis together. We had a good time, as always!
The rest of today has been spent working on papers and school work. Our kitchen table has been covered in books and articles for the past few weeks, and I'm hoping to get it back to normal sometime soon! Also, I am teaching yoga this week for a class project, but I have never actually done yoga before so it should be interesting. I have been trying to learn poses and have been teaching my husband for practice. I am going to be practicing with him again tonight, he is such a good sport when it comes to helping me for school!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
