7 Quick Takes Friday (Volume 3)

-1-
I made some chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes this week for a meeting at school.  Here's the recipe! I didn't eat any because chocolate was one of the things I gave up for Lent, but everyone really liked them.  I'll definitely be making them again after Easter because I love cookie dough!

-2-
My husband and I played Frisbee last night and we came up with a new game! We pushed the soccer goals close together and played some sort of "Frisbee soccer." 1 point for getting the Frisbee into the goal and 2 points for hitting the cross bar or the goal posts.  We are very easily entertained.

 -3-
We decorated pots and planted flowers this week at school! I know it's hard to believe, but yes, I really am in grad school.

-4-
My husband and I made these Spinach Lasagna Roll Ups from Budget Bytes this week thanks to Kayla's comment on my last 7 takes post.  This is a delicious and easy recipe, and it comes out looking so fancy too! This is the meal I plan on serving the next guests who come for dinner.

We took a walk the other night and came across a nest of duck eggs.  I was shocked to see that duck eggs are actually the size of chicken eggs.  I told my husband I was ignorant for not realizing that, but he assured me I wasn't.  He said I was just eggnorant. :)

-6-
I want a puppy ASAP.  This is the cutest dog I've ever seen!

-7-
I love the benefits of being a student.  We went bowling this week at the school bowling alley, and it was only a few dollars for 2 hours of bowling!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Love,
C

  7. Those cupcakes look divine! I love cookie dough, too! Especially the homemade kind, not the pre-packaged store kind. Bernese mountain dogs are so sweet. I've heard that they're pretty comical. Who doesn't love a puppy? :)

You found duck eggs too?? I found some at the beginning of March, but when I went back to check them a couple of weeks ago, they weren't there anymore. :( Hopefully they hatched, or someone moved them somewhere safer.

And your pots look so cute! I wish we did something like that when I was in school. More reason to go back I guess. :D
